The Brain Tumour Charity is leading the way in research, support, and advocacy for everyone affect by brain tumours. Our mission is simple but urgent: to accelerate a cure for brain tumours and improve life for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
We’re seeking a proactive and collaborative marketing professional to join the growing and dynamic Brand & Marketing Team. Playing a key role in leading and supporting a variety of bold campaigns and communications, we're looking for an organised individual with excellent project management and relationship building skills and a creative flair.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality content, ensure brand consistency, and support strategic and exciting campaigns including micro-fundraising and brand development. Working closely with a variety of marketing and charity professionals, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to going further, faster for everyone affected by a brain tumour.
📍Location: While contracted to our office in Fleet, Hampshire, our team supports a blend of office and home working provided you have adequate broadband and IT capability, with an average of 2-3 days in the office each week.
⏰Working hours: This role is 37.5 hours per week, with some out of hours working.
💰Benchmarked salary: c.£33,350 (dependent on level)

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential – we're looking for someone who can build relationships, understand processes and contribute to strengthening the marketing function at a growing and ambitious charity. A collaborative team player, you’ll be confident managing multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities, and using innovative approaches to connect with diverse audiences while keeping our mission and values at the heart of your work.

- Work with channel owners to develop and execute communications plans and projects
- Act as the marketing lead/link between the marketing team and the wider charity, ensuring projects are briefed in and delivered on time and to budget
- Work with internal content team and external freelancers to ensure assets are created to brief and delivered on time
- Monitor the communications inbox, ensuring messages reach their intended destination
- Support the Brand & Marketing Team in implementing a new account management process within the wider marketing team
- Play a leading role in developing the marketing team’s internal communications, ensuring the wider team is represented and the Charity is informed of updates, projects and trends
- Develop our approach to micro-fundraising awareness days, working with the digital and creative teams to implement and execute opportunities
- Support the Brand & Marketing team to deliver and monitor key projects, including the brand development programme
- Act as a brand guardian and ambassador, ensuring assets and output are compliant with brand guidelines
- Develop key relationships with stakeholders across The Charity
- Support with brand tracking and monitoring, including scoping tools and key metrics
- Support on the delivery of brand marketing campaigns

Experience:
- Developing and implementing campaigns or communications projects
- Experience in analysing project success using a variety of tools
- Working within an in-house marketing team or marketing agency
- Account management experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience of acting as a brand ambassador encouraging, ensuring consistency to a range of audiences and platforms.
- Charity experience is not essential, however demonstrable experience working with people with lived experience would be beneficial
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- An excellent understanding of different marketing techniques and disciplines spanning the marketing mix
- Strong project management skills, including experience of juggling multiple pieces of work and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt approach for various stakeholders and platforms
- Confident working across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, and traditional media.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Confidence in presenting or representing an organisation externally
- Sensitivity and tact in dealing with those with lived experience
- Team player with the willingness to work flexibly in response to the emerging needs of The Charity
