Recently named Charity of the Year by Just Giving Awards 2022, we’re committed to moving further, faster to accelerate change for everyone affected by a brain tumour. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. We know that a cure can’t wait.
We are looking for an organised and professional administrator to support the Corporate Partnerships Team. The admin support’s responsibilities include handling correspondence, preparing documents and scheduling meetings. Oversee the administrative processes of key accounts ensuring they run smoothly, this includes fulfilling orders for charity collateral (t-shirts, badges etc.), support in briefing volunteers for events and other ad-hoc tasks.
MS Office proficiency is required, as are excellent communication skills across all mediums, and an ability to work as part of a team or independently, using your initiative.
📍Location: While contracted to our office in Fleet, Hampshire, our team supports a blend of office and home working provided you have adequate broadband and IT capability, with an average of 2-3 days in the office each week.
⏰Working hours: This role is predominately a 37.5 hours working week, with some out of hours working. We would be open to considering applications from those seeking a part-time role also. This is a 4-6 month fixed term contract.
💰Benchmarked salary: £23,500 (dependent on level)
We're looking for a proactive self-starter with bags of enthusiasm and excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be collaborative and have a team-oriented attitude.
Fundraising experience is preferred but not essential.
Partnership Delivery & Management
- In collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships Team, support with the stewardship of existing Corporate Partnerships by attending online and in-person meetings, organising collateral and volunteer requests and responding to queries
- Maintain Corporate Partnerships records on our CRM database, Salesforce
- Be the first point of contact for corporate inbox enquiries and liaise with internal teams to ensure that leads are allocated correctly
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Team with the stewardship of partners and sponsors and help with the delivery of the associated projects and campaigns
New Business
- Conduct research into and due diligence on potential prospects
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Team with the preparation of approaches and proposals to potential new business prospects
- Support with the administrative aspects of pipeline development, such as ensuring the corporate pipeline is up to date, logging responses and planning future contact points
Other
- Support in ensuring all corporate resources are up-to-date and create and amend resources where required
- Complete ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure the effective delivery of corporate activity, such as raising and monitoring Purchase Orders, invoices and payments
- Attend and assist at events delivered by the corporate team when required

Experience:
- While some experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management is a plus, it is not essential. We are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual with great communication and customer service skills. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with a background in fundraising or sales.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present ideas creatively and persuasively.
- Strong administrative, planning and prioritisation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Competency with all standard Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of using a supporter database or CRM (ideally Salesforce)
